Kanza Coop is looking for a Convenience Store Assistant Manager at the Andale location to provide exceptional customer service and to assist the Store Manager with daily operations and personnel. This position requires lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
As a Convenience Store Assistant Manager, primary responsibilities include:
• Prompt and regular attendance and the ability to work a variable schedule

As a Grain Elevator Operator, primary responsibilities include:
• Load and unload trucks
• Clean trucks
• Dump grain and/or load railcars or trucks, clean up grain spills
• Inspect grain for insects, moisture, and foreign material while unloading grain trucks
• Responsible for maintaining clean facilities, and complying with all state and federal regulations pertaining to a safe workplace, housekeeping, and all activities that require regulation compliance
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on all elevator equipment
• Assist customers in loading purchases
• Actively promote use of cooperative’s grain facilities to customers
• Provide excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; responds promptly to customer needs, resolves questions, complaints and concerns immediately and meets commitments
A successful Grain Elevator Operator must be a least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and enjoy serving people and building relationships within the Kanza team and our community of patrons.
